Poem by Fr Pádraig J. Daly OSA – Cunnigar

I was taught this beautiful poem when I was in 5th class in the late 1980s at Garranbane national primary school in county Waterford by my teacher Mr Tom McHugh. A pure gentleman and sage who greatly influenced my love of arts and storytelling.

The poem is read by Stíofán Mac Cárthaigh from StepsBackThruTime guided walking tour experiences and was originally written by the renowned poet Fr Pádraig J. Daly OSA.
